If you have found yourself here, I would imagine you are like me and have a passion for all things nautical and probably possess a strong sense of adventure.

This site contains my professional Resume and some general information relating to my career of choice and my experiences in the yachting industry.

I should start out first by telling you how very fortunate I am to have worked with some incredible boat owners and individuals. Most of the posts I have held as Captain have been truly remarkable as the relationship between the boat owner and myself have usually evolved into a non-traditional relationship, that of a true partnership and in many cases a strong, steadfast friendship.

I have been fortunate enough to work with and for individuals who have not just thought outside the box but stepped outside it.

I would think that in most cases this has been the determining factor in achieving the level of success needed to purchase and become an owner of a motor yacht.

That being said, some of this unorthodox thinking seems to have rubbed off on me and although I am a very professional and seasoned Captain I tend to be a bit of an iconoclast.

You will find that my site reflects this.

I believe that getting to know and building an organic synergy with your yacht crew is paramount since spending time on open seas often involves extended periods of time together under sometimes great amounts of pressure. Whether fighting tumultuous seas or exploring what is around the next bay I operate with my crew as one cohesive unit.

In my current role as a Yacht Captain I am building a bespoke motor yacht for a very discerning owner and planning a subsequent global circumnavigation once this project is finished.

One of my greatest strengths is infusing a sense of passion and excitement in everything I do. Built on this foundation is a keen interest in modern technologically based yachts, engineering management systems and propulsion systems spanning the spectrum from conventional to experimental.

The world is changing and my industry along with it. I feel that in the not so distant future we will be re-inventing the way in which we both construct and propel our vessels though the water.

My on-water experiences are diverse and range from everything including commercial charter boats, passenger ferry captaincy and hovercraft pilot, to canoe instructor.
